Rembrandt (*15 March 1977; †30 October 2001) was a Westphalian dark bay gelding and one of the most successful dressage horses in international tournaments.
Rembrandt, ridden by Nicole Uphoff, was - among many other achievements - Olympic Champion 1988 in Seoul and 1992 Barcelona. Both times he reached both individual gold and a gold medal with the team. He joined in 1996 again at the Olympics in Atlanta. He was prematurely taken out because of a pulled muscle. In the year 2001 the bay gelding was put to sleep because of an arthritis.
